Ariana Grande has returned with ‘No Tears Left To Cry’, her first new single since last year’s Manchester Arena attack.

The song, which was released last night, sees the 24-year-old opting for a downbeat gospel inspired introduction, before it later makes way for a hugely infectious chorus.

The video for the track has also been released, and it alludes to the Manchester Arena attack at the very end – with a symbolic worker bee flying across shot at the close.

Ariana previously teased the track earlier this week, cryptically posting ‘Miss You’ on Twitter, alongside a crying face emoji.

Speaking earlier this year, manager Scooter Braun also explained the huge emotional toll that the attack had on the singer.

“When she found out that fans of hers had died, she was… so sad”, Braun revealed during an appearance on the Big Questions with Carl Fussman podcast.

“She cried for days, she felt everything – every face they announced, every name, she wore on her sleeve. Every bit of emotion because that’s who she is. And the thing I will always remember is that she goes, ‘If I don’t do something, I’m not who I say I am to these people’”.
